Part 1 - Group Activity

You will be placed into groups, and each group will be assigned two topics from below that are discussed in the article.
- Select a typography that’s easy to read and skim.
- Be mindful of auto-translation.
- Choose a color scheme that suits your brand.
- Use white space to break up text and other elements.
- Use texture to add personality and depth.
- Add images to engage and inform readers.
- Simplify your navigation.
- Make your CTAs stand out.
- Optimize for mobile.
- Limit the options presented to users.
- Prioritize functionality over aesthetics.
- Choose the content your users understand.
Your group will summarize your assigned topics in your designated slides.
Part 2 - Individual
Pick three of the topics above, and consider them with respect to one of the webpages (or the website) you built in this unit. For each topic, do one of the following:
- Explain why your webpage incorporates this best practice, OR
- Try to incorporate this best practice into your webpage, OR
- If you don't believe you have the technical knowledge to incorporate this best practice into your webpage, describe what you would do if you were able to.
You should create a document (such as MS-Word or plain text) saved in your folder for this assignment that includes:
- Which three best practices you chose
- Your explanation for each one, or, if you made changes to your webpage to incorporate the best practice, an indication of this.
