Unit Introduction

I am going to teach you how to use Gimp in this unit to do many of the things a lot of you I assume already know how to do in PhotoShop. Therefore, you will have some choice with respect to how you complete this unit.

Grade 11 Options

  1. Complete all assignments in Gimp (recommended for those who haven't used PhotoShop)
  2. Complete all assignments in PhotoShop (but with limited help available from me)
  3. A combination of these

Grade 12 Options

  1. Follow through the unit in Gimp
  2. Complete the culminating task in PhotoShop (or software of your choice), then do the alternate stage lighting unit. If you finish the stage lighting early, I may also have you get a little familiar with Gimp.
