Culminating Task

You will be creating a Remembrance Day themed collage. You can complete this in graphics software of your choice, but I will be able to support you best if you choose Gimp. I'm hoping we can display most of these at our school Remembrance Day assemblies (but you can opt out if you'd like, or display yours anonymously).

Requirements

Your collage should include a background image, plus at least four additional pictures. Make use of the following features:

• Extract images from their backgrounds as needed.
• Use layer masks on some of the images to fade them into the background.
• Include the use of at least one colour or filter feature built into the program.
