A1 - Non-Memory Devices

For this assignment, refer to this slide presentation, which we will be going through in class.

Your Task

Create a new Google Slides presentation in your Google Drive. You can call it something like "Computer Hardware". Create six slides, titled as follows:

  • Slide 1 - Title page. You can call it "Computer Hardware"
  • Slide 2 - Motherboard
  • Slide 3 - CPU
  • Slide 4 - GPU
  • Slide 5 - Buses
  • Slide 6 - Power Supply

On slides 2-6, you should paste in a picture of the component that is different than the picture I used in my presentation. Then, you need to paste each of the facts below onto the appropriate slide. The facts are listed below in a random order.

Connects all other computer components together

Generally contains hundreds or thousands of cores

Speed is measured in Gigahertz (GHz)

Responsible for rendering graphics

Responsible for transferring data between components

Generally contains 2-16 cores

Responsible for powering individual components in the computer

Responsible for executing program instructions

Is part of the motherboard (instead of being connected to it)
