A2 - Memory Devices

For this assignment, refer to this slide presentation, which we will be going through in class.

Your Task

Continue your slide presentation from Assignment 1, by adding slides with the following headings:

• Slide 7 - Cache
• Slide 8 - RAM
• Slide 9 - SSD
• Slide 10 - Hard Drive

On slides 7-10, you should paste in a picture of the component. Then, you need to paste each of the facts below onto the appropriate slide. The facts are listed below in a random order.

Most computers have a few gigabytes.

Most store a few hundred gigabytes, but sometimes up to a terabyte or more.

Resides on the CPU.

Volatile memory that resides on a chip separate from the CPU.

Most of these store several terabytes.

Uses flash memory.
