As a class we will go through this document that helps us evaluate whether content we find online is true.

Explanation on Snopes

Your Task in Groups

Find a claim on snopes that is either true or false. If you can, find a source that reports the claim as true. If you were unable to find a source that reports the claim as true, imagine a plausible scenario where you might find such a claim.

Analyze the claim with respect to each of the five W's in the document. Make some notes beside the points in the document that you think apply to the claim you found, which briefly explain why the points you indicated are relevant.

Hand in the document when done, and be prepared to breifly share your findings with the class.
