Project Marking Rubric

The project will be marked out of 40, as follows:

• Industry Exploration (6)

  • [0-3] - Requirements not fully met
  • [4] - Three industries chosen, at least one is a skilled trade, two app ideas for each industry
  • [5, 6] - Above requirements met; plus 1-3 clear sentences describing each idea

• Requirements Document (10)

  • [0-6] - Partial completion of the requirements document
  • [7] - All required sections included (or excellent detail in sections that were included)
  • [8, 9, 10] - All required sections included with reasonable detail

• UI Mock-Up (16)

  • [0-10] - Partial completion of the eight required illustrations
  • [11, 12] - Eight illustrations included; may lack sufficent clarity or layout may be somewhat awkward
  • [13, 14] - A reasonable layout, with eight illustrations adequately showing intended user interaction
  • [15, 16] - A well throught out layout, with eight illustrations clearly showing intended user interaction

• Data Structures (8)

  • [0-5] - Partial identification of reasonable data storage needs
  • [6] - Identifies reasonable data storage needs
  • [7] - Identifies reasonable data storage needs, effectively groups into objects
  • [8] - Identifies reasonable data storage needs, effectively groups into objects, proper UML diagram layout showing references between objects
